Moving in or out

Owners are responsible for every move in their unit, including a tenant's.

Before the move

  • Notify Higher Ground Property Management, Inc. at least 48 hours before anyone moves in or out, by phone at (888) 810-9533 or in writing.
  • Owners must also notify management when a tenant moves in or out.
  • A move-in/move-out fee applies. Contact management for the current amount and how to pay it before the move.
  • New residents are added to the front door entry system once the move is processed.

During the move

  • Never prop open the building's exterior doors, even while moving.
  • Protect walls, floors and the elevator. Damage to common areas is charged to the owner.
  • Break down boxes and take them to the dumpsters. Large items and moving debris must be hauled away, not left in the garage or on the sidewalk.
